C O N T O U R

Remember my obsession of "collecting?" Well, contouring is also one of them. I'm DEFINITELY one of those girls who puts on makeup every, single, day. I literally can't even remember a day where I didn't have makeup on for over 24 hours. Pathetic, I know. Reason being, is that I am always doing something or going somewhere, so it has just become a habit. Even if I say i'm going to do a minimal amount -- enough to not look scary -- I end up getting really into it and do my entire face, lol. Regardless of how much makeup I am putting on, one thing I pack on is my contour. I naturally have a contour line, so I don't have to apply too much product. I definitely accentuate as much as I can though.
I have a few "go to" products for my contour routine which i'll share in my next few posts. The one i'm sharing today is The Anastasia Contour Kit (powder) in light to medium. The Anastasia contour palette is probably my number 3 favorite in my makeup collection. Number 3 doesn't mean it's a bad product, it just means I don't love it as much as I love number 1 and 2.

This palette comes with 6 colors: three for contouring and 3 for highlighting. Colors which are literally suitable for all skin tones. They are very pigmented and go on very beautifully. Not as pigmented as I personally like, perhaps the medium to dark palette would have been a better choice for me (maybe that's why I don't love this as much, hmm)...
When I do use this palette, I tend to reach for a combination of the color Java mixed with Havana. I rarely touch fawn, but when I do, it's usually for my nose.
I may not love the contour colors, but the highlight colors are to die for. Very nicely pigmented and they give you the perfect glow. Love that I can mix colors too.

L I F E: of a B L O G G E R

Picture of me in San Francisco, on a red carpet -- the irony

Hi all! Christmas is just around the corner and I cannot wait! Not just that, 2016 is literally 10 days away, I mean how crazy is that?! I'm trying to get into a habit of publishing a post every week, eventually and consistently on a specific day of the week, but I tend to lose track of time. So please bare with me as I try to add and remember this along with my laundry list of life-ly duties.

A lot of people don't realize this, but the "blogger life" is very time consuming -- blogging is literally a form of art. You aren't just "blogging." The terms blogging and blogger are very underestimated and misunderstood. When you're a blogger, you are a writer, photographer, designer, editor, marketer, analyst, I could go on. You're literally putting yourself out there and connecting with people who are passionate about the same things you are.

This past week, i've taken 30 minutes here and there to sit and work on my Blog -- mainly during the hours of midnight or later. That includes writing posts for the upcoming weeks, working on my template, designing, photographing, color schemes -- what ever it is you think bloggers do, plus more.

But what is your blog even about? The question we all have, including myself.

In the past few years, i've become obsessed with collecting -- not using the term beauty/fashion/products as they are very vague. Collecting; I collect everything as in: makeup, skincare products, nail products, clothing, magazines, decor, puzzles, etc .. With this obsession, i've collected a large amounts of everything. So I figured, why not blog about it and share it with people who enjoy obsessions similar to mine.

Mac: Pro Conceal and Correct Palette

Hi girls! I wanted to take some time to write a "review/personal opinion" about the mac pro conceal palette. It's meant to conceal and correct blemishes and the under-eye, but i've been using it to contour. Yes, you read right! Contour. I know it sounds a little crazy, but trust me, it works. The texture is very similar to the Mac's shadestick, so it's completely okay to apply to the face. It comes with 6 colors, so you can mix them together for the color of your choice. This isn't something i'd use for an everyday look as it is heavy in coverage, but it is GREAT for an event - especially when you want amazing pictures.
